The Parsons Police Department makes the following statement. After the arrest on Saturday, July 25th on felony charges and his termination as a police officer by the Parsons Police Department, Tyller White was initially booked into the Labette County Jail.

The Parsons Police Department is cooperating in the investigation and appreciates the efforts of the Sheriff's Office and KBI. 

Today the US Attorney's Office and federal authorities with the full support of Sheriff Eichinger and Parsons Police Chief Robert Spinks, has taken over the investigation of Tyller White on federal criminal charges.

On Thursday, July 30, 2026, Tyler White was transferred from the Labette County Jail and was transported to a federal holding facility in Kansas where he will remain in federal custody pending his appearance in federal court.

Any additional information regarding the case or future court proceedings should be directed to the appropriate federal authorities.
