Parsons Police Department Recognizes Key Contributors to the 2025 "Guardians of the Greens" Golf Tournament

The Parsons Police Department proudly recognized four outstanding community members for their exceptional dedication and service in organizing the 2025 Guardians of the Greens Charity Golf Tournament at last night's Parsons City Commission meeting. Honorees included Abigail Easley, John Daley, John Ball, and Tom Davis (not present).
The awards were presented in appreciation of their tireless efforts in planning, coordinating, and executing this year's annual fundraiser that supports the Parsons Police Legacy Fund. The Guardians of the Greens tournament, held at the Katy Golf Club, has quickly become a cornerstone of local community engagement, bringing together first responders, civic leaders, and residents to raise funds for youth programs, scholarships, and public safety initiatives.
"This event would not be possible without the commitment and creativity of community partners like Abigail, John, John, and Tom," said Chief Robert Spinks. "Their dedication behind the scenes reflects the spirit of collaboration that makes Parsons such a remarkable community. The Legacy Fund's success is a direct result of the hard work and civic pride these individuals embody."
Lieutenant Jason Ludwig, who sit on the board of the Parsons Police Legacy Fund and oversees the annual tournament, added, "Each year, Guardians of the Greens grows stronger because of the passion of our volunteers and sponsors. Abigail, John, John, and Tom represent the best of what this effort stands for, service, leadership, and community partnership. Their contributions ensure that our department can continue to give back in meaningful ways."
