Parsons Police Arrest Two in Narcotics Investigation Over a Pound of Methamphetamine Seized Following Search Warrant

On October 21, 2025, The Parsons Police Department has arrested two individuals following a detailed narcotics investigation that resulted in the seizure of over a pound of methamphetamine.

Detectives with the Parsons Police Department's Investigations Division developed probable cause through extensive investigative tactics indicating that Frederick Dubois Lewis, was actively involved in the distribution of methamphetamine. Based on this information, investigators obtained a search warrant for a residence located in the 2400 block of Grand Avenue, as well as for vehicles associated with Lewis and his known associates.

During the execution of the warrant, officers received information that Lewis was traveling near the target residence. Officers initiated a traffic stop, at which time a search of the vehicle revealed over ONE pound of methamphetamine. A subsequent search of the residence resulted in the discovery of an additional 12 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, along with drug paraphernalia and items consistent with narcotics distribution.

Fred Lewis and Leigh Anna Stringfellow were both arrested on suspicion of possession and distribution of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. It was also determined that Stringfellow was driving with a suspended driver's license at the time of arrest.

Parsons Police Chief Robert Spinks stated, "This is yet another example of the persistent and destructive impact that drug offenders have on our community. The Parsons Police Department remains committed to investigating and dismantling these networks that feed addiction and crime in our city. We will continue to work tirelessly with our partners to hold offenders accountable and keep dangerous drugs off our streets."

Lieutenant Sherri McGuire of the Investigations Division commended the effort of her team, saying, "This case reflects the dedication and thoroughness of our detectives, who spent countless hours tracking leads, conducting surveillance, and building a solid case. Their hard work directly led to the removal of a large amount of methamphetamine from our community."
